With Tracy Rollo
Personal trainers guide and motivate clients to reach their peak fitness potential. They assess clients’ fitness needs of clients and develop plans based on them. Personal trainers provide personal training, present classes and instruct on proper nutrition. Personal trainers must have a strong understanding of the functions and vital processes of the human body so they can effectively design and deliver personal nutrition and physical fitness training programs. It is critical to be knowledgeable in health promotion at every stage of growth and development to meet the needs of various clients. A good personal trainer must be energetic and motivating, always encouraging their clients to reach maximum performance.
I believe that everyone can use the assistance of a personal trainer.
“If you need legal advice you consult a lawyer, if you are sick you see a doctor, if you need your hair cut to go to a professional, so why do people expect to get exercise results without professional help.”
I know if I want something done well I talk to someone who has studied the area I need assistance in. I have spent many years of my life studying exercise and how people respond to it, so I can provide a very beneficial outlook on your fitness needs.

At Edmonton Personal Trainer, I study how you move and take into account your personal goals and your history. The goal is to make your life all it can be. To be able to move without pain and to function as well as possible is so important. Exercise is such an important part of life that it’s important that it’s done well.
The study of how your body works and where the problems may be is always my first focus. This is extremely important in preventing injuring and helping you achieve your goals. How you function is so important, hence “Functional Training”. At Edmonton Personal Training, functional is everything!
“When I first started with Tracy, I had been self training for over 14 years and getting some pretty good results.. I thought. I had put on over 50 pounds of lean muscle tissue in that time, but Tracy found that I had over-compensated in a couple of areas and not addressed certain others. I asked her to “fix me” and she did. I’ve had the best gains of my life in the year since following her program and training advice. Frankly, Tracy is so good that I don’t trust myself anymore. Tracy is the best thing that has happened in my bodybuilding career. If you’re looking for an Edmonton Personal Trainer, Tracy is the one!”

In Home Training
Because working with a personal trainer at your home or office eliminates excuses! Not enough time to go to the gym? The gym comes to you. You can work out on your lunch hour, or at any time of day that works for you. When you work out at home or in your office, you don’t have to compete with anyone, dress up for anyone, or work out to impress anyone.
Many people already own equipment, and don’t want to join a gym. You may own exercise videos that you don’t watch (or ONLY watch, and don’t actually participate.) You have probably researched basic weight training, and have a basic idea of what to do, but you’re not doing it. THAT’s why having a personal trainer is a good option.
Having a trainer work with you can teach you how to properly use the equipment you have, motivate you (when you have the time and resources and just don’t do it anyway) and give you ideas of things you can use right in your home to improve your fitness and health. Don’t have any equipment yet? that’s ok too, I can help you determine what fitness equipment best suits your needs before you purchase, saving you time and help you save money on worthless equipment.
In Studio Training
In studio training is probably one of the most effective ways to get the most out of your time. One of the benefits is that you don’t have to worry about having appropriate equipment or space in your home. Our studio has all the necessary equipment you need to achieve your goals. The focus is always on you and what is best for you.
“As we get older, keeping in shape becomes a challenge, and many of us don’t have the knowledge or skills to do this for ourselves, at least to begin. After unsuccessful knee surgery, I was walking with a cane, and my sleep was always disturbed by the pain. Since I was favouring one leg, the rest of my body was going off-kilter as well, contributing to the discomfort. There was a gym in my neighbourhood and Tracy Rollo was the trainer. It took a year of her patient guidance two or three time a week for an hour. Tracy took the time to take extra courses and learn about older bodies.
And now, I continue the program Tracy taught me on my own. I gave the cane away, and I even resumed mountain hiking this summer, with an 8-hour hike gaining 1900 vertical feet. And no after-effects the following day. ”
